Service Projects

Serving New Bern Through Hands-On Community Service

Tryon Civitan Club is made up of volunteers with diverse interests, talents, and passions for helping others. Because our service projects span many areas of community need, members can choose to become involved in the activities that matter most to them. When new challenges arise in our community, Tryon Civitans are ready to respond.

Through hands-on service projects, charitable giving, fundraisers, and community partnerships, we work together to improve lives throughout the New Bern area with a focus on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Tryon Civitan Club is proud to be affiliated with Civitan International, joining thousands of volunteers who share a common commitment to service, leadership, and community involvement.

Through volunteer projects, fundraisers, partnerships, and charitable initiatives, Tryon Civitans continue to identify needs and create opportunities to improve the quality of life for individuals and families throughout the New Bern area.

Tryon Civitan Club’s Blessing Box is located in front of the Childcare Network building, located at 301 9th Street (off of Trent Road), New Bern.

We provide various food items year-round for those in need.
